Pico de Gallo

This is a standard that I make in our house at least once a week!


Elle's Pico de Gallo

Ingredients
  • 1 tomato
  • 2 thin slices of red onion, diced
  • cilantro, chopped
  • avocado, diced
  • salt
  • Lime juice from 1 to 2 limes, squeezed
  • jalapeno, optional
  • Tapatio or Sriracha sauce, to taste (I like about 2 to 3 drops, Mark like at least 1 tsp!)
Steps
  1. Combine all ingredients.
  2. Serve over chimichanga or with chips.
Notes
  • If you have leftovers, cover with saran wrap pressed down tightly to adhere to the avocado to prevent browning
